# Ancha decks: how to edit them

Two slide decks in Ancha's house style, written as HTML and exported to 16:9 PDFs.

| Deck | Audience | Source | PDF |
|---|---|---|---|
| Product deck, 10 slides | buyers and programmers at teams building agents | `deck/index.html` | `pdf/ancha-deck.pdf` |
| Investor deck, 14 slides | pre-seed investors | `deck/investor.html` | `pdf/ancha-investor-deck.pdf` |

Live, read-only copy: https://ancha-decks.pages.dev. Edit the files in this folder, not the live site, then send the changed files and the new PDFs back to Patrick.

## Files

- `deck/index.html`, `deck/investor.html`: one `<section class="slide">` per slide, in order. Each slide ends with a footer (`.foot`): section name on the left, page number on the right.
- `deck/deck.css`: every token and component, shared by both decks. A class added for one deck can break the other (an `.ask` class once stretched the product deck's tool grid), so export and check both PDFs after any CSS change.
- `deck/deck.js`: arrow keys and Page Up/Down move between slides in the browser.
- `deck/logos/`: founder organization logos. `assets/logos/`: tool logos. `assets/fonts/`: Fraunces, Hanken Grotesk, Young Serif and JetBrains Mono, all under the SIL Open Font License.
- `deck/shots/`: real screenshots of the hosted console (the demo workspace on app.ancha.io). The slides use the cropped `run-activity.png` and `attempt-pagerduty.png`; the `demo-*.png` files are the full 1512×982 @2x captures to crop from.
- `reference/`: the team's original pptx draft of the investor deck and its speaker notes. The notes for slides 2, 5 and 6 still describe the old Zendesk and Stripe refund example, which the HTML deck replaced.
- `export-pdf.sh`: exports both decks into `pdf/`.

## Preview and export

```sh
python3 -m http.server 4431          # run from this folder
open http://127.0.0.1:4431/deck/investor.html
./export-pdf.sh                      # needs Google Chrome or Chromium; CHROME=/path/to/chrome overrides
```

Export through the script, which fixes the window size. Printing from a narrow browser window once produced the tablet layout in the PDF.

## Format rules

- Slide frame: content is laid out on a 1280×720 canvas and zoomed 1.2× to fill a 16×9 in page. Everything must fit, with room above the footer. Read every page of the exported PDFs before handing them back.
- The `h2` is the slide's takeaway sentence, not a section name. The section name goes in the footer.
- Use only the tokens in `:root` of `deck/deck.css`: background #FAF9F5, text #141413, accent #D97757, used sparingly. Fraunces for headings, Hanken Grotesk for text, JetBrains Mono for code and small labels, Young Serif only for the `ancha.` wordmark.
- Prose says "Ancha". The lowercase `ancha.` wordmark is the logo only.
- Reuse the existing components (`.three`, `.split`, `.points`, `.surface`, `.catalog`, `.shot`, the hub SVGs) before adding new ones. Keep copy short.
- Real logos only, no NEW or LIVE badges, and no stock placeholder names such as Maya Chen or Priya.
- Product visuals are real screenshots from app.ancha.io. Don't redraw the console.

## Content rules

No invented numbers, quotes, customer names or results. Use the present tense only for what works today:

- app.ancha.io: hosted workspaces, one private machine per account, sign-in with email.
- `npm install -g @ancha-labs/cli`: `ancha login`, `ancha sandbox create`, `connections`, `fork`, `inspect` and `reset`, `ancha secrets set`, and `ANCHA_API_KEY` for CI.
- 11 tool twins. Slack, GitHub, Datadog and PagerDuty are verified. Salesforce, HubSpot, Gong, GA4, Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads and ChatGPT Ads are in closed alpha.
- Playground runs: the agent runs in its own container, with N independent attempts from one seed, and every call and every tool's end state is kept.

These are not built yet, so call them "next" or "closed alpha": pass/fail checks and pass rates, calibration on production traces, production-scale synthetic data, simulated people who go off script, hosted MCP and a GitHub Action.

Every tool shown in an example world must be one of the 11 twins.

## Still to fill in the investor deck

Orange dashed boxes (`class="todo"`) mark numbers only the founders have. Replace every one before the deck is sent:

- Slide 12: agent teams interviewed, design partners, teams on the waitlist, and one builder quote with name, role and company.
- Slide 14: the raise amount, months of runway, and the use-of-funds split across engineering, go to market and infrastructure.

Also check before sending: the market figures on slide 8 and the product dates on slide 4 come from the original draft and have not been verified again.
